Alleged 'Terrorist' In Unilag (Pics)

A  student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) reported on a social medium that a lecturer by name Ogunkunle of the Faculty of Arts during a Geography class asked students to kneel down as punishment for misbehaving. He also alleged that the lecturer had been 'terrorizing' (whatever that meant) the students.

He wrote that "(t)his lecturer rarely comes to class when he comes he spends most time sending students out and threatening them. He is just a disgrace to this wonderful university. We have very brilliant, decent lectures who respects us for who we are e.g their response to the dress code saga.
We are please begging the university to help caution lecturers like this so that our great unilag won't be a laughing stock amongst other universities".

If this is true, everyone must hear my whistle...

Court Fired Edo Lawmaker (Straight Red Card)

The Court of Appeal sitting in Benin sacked Sunday Aghedo of the APC, representing  Ovia South West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly.

The Vangard reported that the court declared Godwin Adenomo of the APC winner of both the APC primary election and the Edo State House of Assembly elections of April 11 2015, although he never participated in the latter.

The issues started when Godwin Adenomo who won the APC primaries scoring 152 votes was replaced by  Aghedo who had 140 votes to contest for the State Assembly elections.

Adenomo went to the Federal High Court  in Benin which  ordered the All Progressive Congress to conduct a fresh primary for the position but Adenomo rejected the ruling and headed for the appellate court which has made him winner.
